    • Since November 2024, air raid alerts have become more frequent across Ukraine, and the risk of air strikes has significantly increased.
    • A state of emergency was declared by the Ukrainian authority on 24 February 2022. Armed conflicts have been ongoing. The security situation in the country is highly volatile.
    • Residents should avoid all travel to the country. Those already there should attend to personal safety and pay attention to local announcements on the latest situation and notices on consular services from the Embassy of the People’s Republic of China in Ukraine. Residents in Ukraine who need assistance may call the 24-hour hotline of the Assistance to Hong Kong Residents Unit of the Immigration Department at (852) 1868, call the 1868 hotline using network data or use the 1868 Chatbot via the Immigration Department Mobile Application, send message to the 1868 WhatsApp assistance hotline, send message to the 1868 WeChat assistance hotline or submit the Online Assistance Request Form, or contact the Chinese Embassy in Ukraine at consular protection hotline: +380503550734.
